The St. John Paul II Life Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit with a three-fold mission:
- Provide OB-GYN care in line with Catholic teachings and open to all faiths
- Operate a pregnancy resource center
- Offer Education
Thankfully, there are many crisis pregnancy centers in Central Texas. There are four NaProTECHNOLOGY clinics in the state of Texas. But St. John Paul II Life Center is the only center we know of in the nation that addresses all three critical areas under one roof.
Sandra is from Mexico City where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Languages. She came to the United States to participate in the Walt Disney College program and met her husband of 28 years while working at the EPCOT Center. She worked for a number of different companies, and always made sure that her schedule would allow her to take care of her family’s needs. When her youngest of three sons moved to junior high, Sandra decided to come to St. John Paul II Life Center. Her joyful demeanor and ability to speak fluently in several different languages helps her connect with women from all walks of life. Sandra manages all crisis pregnancy volunteers and programs including client advocates, spiritual companions, pregnancy classes, and “Gianna’s Closet,” which provides material support to clients.
Kristen was raised in Aggieland and after spending time in Dallas and Houston, moved to Austin in 2007. She has 13 years experience with accounting, auditing, bookkeeping, and personal taxes. She worked in Public Accounting for 10 years before venturing out on her own to work with small business owners. She is passionate about the mission of the St. JPII Life Center, and taught budgeting & tax classes for the center for almost 2 years before joining the staff! She believes there is no greater joy than helping someone become empowered and unafraid of something that was once intimidating (both in accounting, and in life!). She prides herself on being an approachable, knowledgeable advisor, and loves sharing her skills and knowledge with others.
