When becoming a Legacy for Life donor, you can make a gift to the St. John Paul II Life Center in your will or living trust.
If you are interested in giving through our Legacy for Life planned giving program, you may suggest that your attorney include the language:
“I give and bequeath to St. John Paul II Life Center (Tax I.D. 20-8785471), located at 1600 W. 38th Street, Suite 110, Austin, Tx 78731, in the sum of $______, or ______ percent of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate for the benefit of the St. John Paul II Life Center, to be used as the Board of Directors directs.”
Consider naming St. John Paul II Life Center as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy. A beneficiary designation gift is a simple and affordable way to make a gift to support the St. John Paul II Life Center. You can designate JPII as a beneficiary of a retirement, investment or bank account or your life insurance policy.
After a person’s death, retirement accounts are exposed to income, and in some cases estate taxes, which at a combined rate could rise to 75% or higher. The only way to avoid these taxes on your retirement plan is to give those assets to a charity. By designating the St. John Paul II Life Center as your beneficiary, you will ensure 100% of the value of your account benefits those we serve.
