Donations from Donor Advised Funds
Grants from Donor Advised Funds (DAF) are one the easist and most tax-advantageous ways to give to a charity you care about. A DAF is like a charitable investment account but for the purpose of supporting organizations close to your heart. When you contribute cash, securities or other assets to a DAF, you are generally eligible for an immediate tac deduction. The funds can then be invested for tax-free growth and you can recommend which IRS-qualified public charity you'd like to receive grants.
The St. John II Life Center is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that qualifies as an IRS-qualified charity. JPII can accept Donor Advised Funds as a donation, or you can designate JPII as the beneficiary of thebalance of your fund at death.
